I just found out that I am pregnant by taking HPT and I wanted some tips on how do I let my husband know? I just want to make it romantic since we have tried it loong and this is our first baby!
FYI. His birthday is next week. Is there any cards available in the market that says both things?

I really wanted to do something fun for mine but my husband was there with me when I tested and actually showed me the positive stick! But I think it's a good idea to give him a card that says "Happy Birthday Dad" as mentioned but I know it would be hard for me to wait that long.
They have really cute bibs that say "I Love My Daddy". You could get one of those give it to him.
Shopko has a soda (it may be found elsewhere but I think I've only seen it there) called "Dad's Soda". I was going to give him one at dinner and see if he noticed.
There are also a ton of books that are for fathers. Like the "Father's Guide to Pregnancy" and such.
Anyways, I hope whatever you do goes blissfully. Congrats to you both!

When I found out I was pregnant I scoured the card stores for one that said something about being a daddy. There aren't any so one that says that and happy Birthday, I really doubt it. I really wanted my telling my DH to be special, however I just blurted it out.
Now in looking back I wish I had been more creative.
How about making a romantic dinner for his birthday and getting him a two birthday cards one from you and one from baby.??

Get him a card from baby. They make those. Like "happy birthday daddy, from baby" and put the HPT in it.
Iam so glad for you! I peed on a stick and my husband was right there, i showed it to him estatic, and he got pissed and didnt touch me or talk to me for 4 days, and then was a complete asshole for my entire pregnancy.
Iam sure whatever you do will be soooo romantic!

When I found out I was pregnant I made up a little Flyer/Letter thing on the computer that basically said "Guess What?!?! Your gonna be a daddy!!" and then I put little baby clip art all over it, and gave it to him when I got home from work. He was so happy!! Congrats, and good luck

get him a birthday card from the future child, maybe put it in a package with some baby clothes that says something about dads, theres loads of those out there :D

My husband was coming home from a 2-week long business trip the day i found out.....
I went out to the store and bought a miniature football jersey of his favorite team (HUGE FOOTBALL FAN), wrapped it up and gave it to him. He just looked over at me and was like - are you sure??? hahaha, it was priceless.
I had told him on his way home that i had a surprise for him.....he thought i had bought him this new gadget he had been talking about for weeks....he liked my surprise better.

get him a birthday card and a gift. in the gift put a bid that says #1 DAD or booties in it. that would be so cute or just wrap up the pregnancy test and give it to him. i wish you the best of luck.

Get him a happy birthday dad card lol. He will be puzzled at first and then hopefully he will figure it out. :) That will be fun.

I cleaned my preg. test and put it in a pot on the stove. When he came home from work, I told him I had cooked him something he would love. He opened the lid and his face was priceless.
