Here's a site I use to find radio stations online to listen to.

There are two ways, but both of them probably won't get what you want...

One is if the station webcasts online like others commented about earlier.

Up until recently, There was a site with radios hooked to the internet located around the world setup by individuals just for monitoring all kind of stuff, not just AM broadcast band. But they do encourage listening of all kind of stuff including the Am or Medium Wave MW band as they are called in Europe.

However the main organizer pulled the plug a few months ago and I haven't found the organizer of any new ones yet.

other times radio stations webcast but you'll have to go to the radio stations website to be sure

Sure, just put in the website for your favorite station. Mine is Jammin 107.7 in my area and they have radio streaming online all day long...

as others here have answered, your favorite am station probably has a website and is streaming their shows. you may have to install their proprietary player or simply use a media player like windows, real player, etc.

Yes, i would say its safe to assume 99% of ALL stations are now streaming free online to compete w/ satellite. Try mine . . .

sure you can use any of your popular media players to do so. i personally like itunes, simple and convenient to use.
