If you don't have time to look for a person to have a relationship with, how do you have time to work on establishing the relationship? Women aren't like a new pair of socks, for gosh sake.

Take advantage of everyday situations. I get approached a lot in ordinary places. The car wash is a great one (start a conversation about a car.) The grocery store is a good one start a convo about the price of milk.) The gas station is a good one (ask for directions.) You get my point. Put yourself out there. You are old enough to know that life if short, if it goes nowhere, then that is ok too, you might make a friend, you might never see her again. It's nice to be polite to people and you can't go wrong from doing this. Be careful not to come across as a leach though---that's just a turn off.

Do not rely on the internet and be a member of some single get-together clubs where you will be able to meet many people and this can open an opportunity for you to understand someone who will be able to be your other half. You mention that you are a busy man but i think there has to be some spare time in your life as this may affect your marriage lige in future again. Women usually expects a lot of attention and time from their husbands.

Good luck. We ALL want stable relatonships. But any relationship takes work, and plenty of it. Communicate, communicate, communicate. And stop being a workaholic. The day you die your inbox won't be empty. Go out and look for that special someone. On-line dating services can be extremely rewarding. It's where I found my special someone. You just have to be willing to take the time to look and get to know the person on the other end of that computer monitor. Good luck.

Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I still think you're better off meeting people in person (and not in a bar, or obviously phony circumstance).
What do you do in your real life? Do you know anybody at work? Do you know anybody at school? Do you have any hobbies? Do your kids have friends? Do your friends have friends.
Tell everybody you know that you're looking to meet someone for a long and stable relationship, and ask them to help you meet someone. I even heard of one person who offered $1000 to the person who introduced them to their next spouse -- money well spent, I would think, considering that you're only going to have to pay it once!

People are nothing but trouble and there is no reason why you cannot live a fulfilled life as a single person. If you stay single your life will be much less complicated. There is no reason whatsoever to get married. Don't get married, don't have children.

dude..you sound like a good guy...and congrates on being a parent.
but, unfortunatly those online sites are evil. few and far between are legitimate people looking for something serious. not to mention, that it allows people to befar more picky than they normally would out in the real world...its hard to show your a great person on there and what if your not the most photogenic person in the world, then its like you get looked over immediatly...i would say to try real-life events, like many places that offer local dating 'meet and greets' in real life you can shine!
good luck
