A staged event specifically for the media cameras present.

The student (Meyer) is well known for hoaxes. The hoax at the University of Florida which was intended to humiliate the police, the university and Senator Kerry was carried out and planned by a number of students. Many of whom started posting on Yahoo Answers almost immediately. It was a publicity stunt intended to get Meyer on the news since it is the only way he will ever be involved in journalism.

I wouldn't be surprised if T-shirts and bumper stickers were already made up ahead of time, but not by anybody connected to the Senator.

This has nothing "directly" attributed to Kerry personally, but has everything attributed with police brutality!

I hope this guy sues those jackbooted thugs. They had NO reason to taser him or rush him out of the area. He just was trying to ask a few questions (set up or not) the guy didn't do anything wrong! The police on the other hand, way OVER REACTED and should be punished!

I got a T-shirt for you: "I Went To A Kerry Speech And Lost My Rights To Free Speech"

How much longer will this stupidity go on? Kerry was doing his best to answer the student's question when the mindless police thugs moved in. We don't know what their political leanings are, but who cares? They're probably former gang members like the thugs in "A Clockwork Orange". They didn't care if it was appropriate to the situation as long as they got to taser someone. There is nothing in this story that can in any way be interpreted as an indictment of Kerry.

You cons just can't stand facts, can you? All you have to do is view the video for yourselves, but you won't do that because that would rob you of your opportunity to delude yourselves with the belief that the Republicans aren't the only oppressive party.

He is marketing it with his new freedom of speech plan.

Get your chance on the mic for only 19.95 limited time only. We reserve the right to taser you if you do not provide canned question prior to your entry to the mic. Any person Tasered will be given a free ride off the premises and assistance from the lovely men wearing blue.

* The democratic party reserves all rights to tasering and any republican caught tasering will be prosecuted as copy right infringement.

That is about the only energy that comes out of a Kerry event.

No, but the guy who got tasered was selling "Don't Taze me, bro!" t-shirts within minutes of his arrest.
