I''ve lost 2 points today because a question I answered was deleted. Is yahoo that fickle?

if you don't know how to read the question. you don't have to answer. i clearly state that i answered a question that got deleted.

Yes, I lost 8 points yesterday cuz of a quesion being deleted. Doesn't seem fair but it happens.

I believe you do lose your 2 points when that happens. However this does not count as a violation for you. All it does is effectively make it as if you have never posted that answer, to the extent that the Yahoo system can tell.

I don't think there's a violation or you would have lost more points but they will take back points for a question that is deleted.

Yeah that happened to me to. I lost two points from a deleted question.

Yes they are that fickle and I don't think you should be penalized for answering a question that was deleted...but oh well!

Yes, you lose 2 pts. if someone deletes their question, but not a violation. It's a bummer, but it happens quite often.~~

Yip....If you answer a question and it gets deleted they take back the 2 points they gave you for answering it....Yea...I wish they'd make up their minds....
