Your excuse for why black people vote Democrat is insulting. You say they vote Democrat because they are lazy, don't want to work, and are just looking for handouts.
In addition, you talk as if Democrats have fooled blacks into voting for them. OPEN YOUR EYES! Black people are PART of the Democratic Party. We got Obama running for president for example. They carry positions of power (that didn't require appointing) in the Democratic Party.
If you want to know why black people vote Democrat (along with the yankee north) and why southern whites neo-confederates vote Republican, start with the election of 1964.

My question to you is......what party fought so hard for so many years to keep the rights that blacks have today from being put into law?

No, not the republican party. Check your history books, no not the history books they put out today, but the true history books.
That's right...the "Demon"cratic party.
Now why would a group of people want to be part of a political group that fought against their freedoms?
You tell me! Huh? Cat got your tongue. Well let me tell you.....the entitlement programs are given as the carrot before the horse. To lead them to the poles for their votes.
I'll elaborate further. Why food stamps? To control what they can buy and where they can buy it. Why public housing? To control where they live and under what conditions they live in. Why welfare monies? To control their ability to self control their own destiny. Why subsidised college funds? To control what colleges they can attaend. God forbid one of us lower class tries to attend harvard or Yale. In my opinion this is monetary slavery. They control the helpless with food, shelter, money and their education.
As far as the "yankee north" voting demoncratic, they are the union workers. They were brought in under the same lies as the blacks. If that's not so, then why has total memebership and unions jobs gone down since coming on board. And why did Monica's boy friend (Slick Willie) send so many jobs, union jobs, out of the country with NAFTA?

I live in NJ, and when I ask black people who they vote for, they don't even name names (they rarely know the names). They just say "Democrat". Why? Because they'll increase their welfare. I've seen the local 90% Democratic leadership tax the white people to high heavens and increase social programs, over and over and over again.
Obama may be black, but he's not your stereotypical black. Polls have shown that many black people don't support him.
