What is the gel stuff that you put in a vase to hold water for flowers called?

I am trying to find out the name of the little gel crystals that you put in a vase or pot and it waters the flowers. It comes in different colors I think too.

Are you talking about Cracked Ice? It is a polymer that absorbs 200 times it weight in water. It only comes in the original color, but it can be tinted. The flowers inserted in this gel, will take on the color of the gel after a period of time. You can find it in the wedding section of Michale's
