Absolutely gorgeous :) There's alot to see, the scenery is amazing and coming from Florida, the lack of humidity for the most part is a welcome change.

I go there often. It's a HUGE area and there is lots to do. It's too much for me to list, but you can check it all out at http://www.lbl.org/Home.html. If you go to the Tennessee side, Paris Landing is the way to go. That's where I usually go because I live about 35 mins away. If you're on the Kentucky side, The Sportsman's Lodge is good. If you plan on drinking any alcohol, make sure to see if you will be staying in a dry county. If you are, you will have to stock up before you get there.

Yes, it's fun, beautiful and educational. There is a buffalo herd there and a pioneer type town with people in period dress doing period chores and activities. The area itself is really pretty. You'll enjoy it!
