like today music does not have the twain or the stories of yesterday style becuase people prefer looks instead and makes me wonder if people get what country is about like trace atkins songs about me

The story MAKES the music. a good song cold be sang by anyone, and would still be a good song. As far as the looks go, i wish there had never been a video created, maybe then talent would count for something. In "country Music" today, it is all looks and choreography, and to h#$l with if it acutally any good!!!!! These kids that are drawn in by a beat and a nice looking preformer will never know what they missed in the old days of REAL country music, and it is their loss.

I like songs like rebas fancy or night the lights went out in georgia i also like garth brooks old songs as well. I like the songs where they tell stories those are my favorite kinds of songs
