So who out there has the feeling that the red soxs are going to blow it. They are only 2 1/2 up and have 11 games to go. The yankees are rolling and they dont look like there going to slow down. So are we going to see the biggest choke of the 2000s or will they hang on?

they will choke! however, sadly, the biggest choke is also in new york!! THE METS LOOK LIKE THEY WILL BLOW HUGE DIVISION LEAD TO PHILLY!! YANKEES WILL BE IN PLAYOFFS!!

I pretty much figured it would be this close (although I said the Sox would have a three game lead when the season ends)...but I am still not worried...it's a 2.5 game lead and that is still a lead...I will be worried if the teams become tied in the loss column....right now I still see it as the Sox lead to lose and I just don't think they will...either way both teams will be in the playoffs. I give the Yankees credit though...they have played their butts off to make this a race.

Excuse me the Sox have been worry ever since the All-Star break and if anything this is no different, having a 2.5 game lead with ten games left is like having a 10 game lead in the middle of the season.

Ozgard, What up with all the pessimism? Are you afraid of jinxing the Yanks? A 2 1/2 game lead can easily be choked up by this Sox team that is, once again, being mismanaged by Mr. Tito. Go ahead, let the Sox fans know that we know and they know what we all knew would eventually happen.

I'm a Yankee fan and love whats going on but I can't see us making the 2 1/2 games up. We should sew up the Wild Card and then take our chances with the Angels. Its our year.
