how important was us help?
first of all the "help" the soviets did receive was not in the form of military hardware, meaning tanks and other frontline munitions but trucks, jeeps, medical supplies and other forms of supply and auxiliary. however, these did not come from the us until late 43 to early 44. which begs the question? if the us couldn't help the soviets until 43, 44 how did the soviets "survive the nazi onslaught?"
easy, themselves.
total armament production by the soviets was unmatched and unparalelled in its scope and in its sheer quantity.
they overproduced everything that was needed to fight a war; tanks - their tanks by the end of the war was considered better than anything the germans had or even the americans. they out-produced the germans by 250% and the us by 10-15%.
that's right, they out-produced the us. the soviets had more frontline armor than the us did at the close of ww2.
planes - their planes were underestimated badly by the germans thinking that their messerschmidts were of no match in the air. they were badly mistaken. soviet fighter aircraft had a kill ratio of 5-1 and sometimes 8-1. the soviets had complete air superiority by the end of 42.
oh, by the way, the soviets had more planes than any other country by almost 2-1 (counting the us).
by the end of the war, the quality of soviet war materiel was on par with any western democracy including the us. and a production schedule equalling that of the us and even surpassing the us, esp. in tanks and planes.
how important was the us help? not very.

Russia would argue that it defeted Germany on its own. However, assistance provided by US and its allies was invaluable. Russians did not care too much for armors and planes sent by US. However, they made great use of trucks, medical supplies and wires. Yes, wires!!! Russian industry was not very advanced in terms of producing high quality wires that could be used in communication and this was critical as Russians did not make much use of wireless communication.

I think US help enabled the Russians to push back on the Nazis much earlier than they otherwise would have been able to. The Germans were too spread out and they didn't have a long range strategic bomber to hit Russian production beyond the Urals. It may have taken longer, but the Nazis would have lost eventually.

very close to zero since Ford, for instance, was a close friend of Adolf hitler, and carried on building engines, tanks, planes and trucks IN Germany for german Wehrmacht - this is a bas historical fact - opel was also controlled by the US, inside Germany - Dornier in Holland - non accounted all the gallons of Us fuel - US factories in Germany were never bombed, at the same time german women and children burnt in cellars under posphor bombs, like rats - this was the unknown side of holocaust.

This is historically proved and of course very politically uncorrect

Seen the downthumbs and the level of glorious ignorance here I carry on - there was practically no help from capitalist US to Soviet Russia - there were some pathetic attempts to convoy some miserable trucks over the Behring Detroit then thousands of miles through the impossible Siberia - US did not win the war against germans but lost it with them AGAINST communism - history is tricky and you have to learn much US friends about this - There is as much propaganda in your historically brainwashed minds as there was in the Ussr previously - US landed in Europe, once they were sure that 3/4 of europeans and russians, included germans were chopped - late - very late -five years after 1939 - and WWII was one of the biggest factor of wealth in the US ever realized on us - now put your thumbs whereever you want -

Its the other way around.

At the end of the war we knew the Russians were the power. We were so scared of their army we destroyed cities killing thousands of refugees just to show them what our air force could do so that they wouldnt attack us.
