You can't !! She is using that as an excuse to do drugs! If you found something for her to do she would just find another excuse !! That's the oldest excuse in the book. You didn't say what kind of drugs she's taking or how old she is? As for drinking lots of people drink and it's not illegal if your of the drinking age but some drugs are worse than others. Weed isn't so bad but harder drugs like crack or heroin or cocaine are highly addictive and can ruin your life! Take it from someone who knows. I have lost more friends to hard drugs than anything I can think of!!! She's going to have to learn the evils of hard drugs on her own . When she hits bottom she will either die or she will seek out help in a rehab. I wish there was something you could do but telling on her will only make things worse you will loose her trust and a good friend !!Nagging her about it will push her away as well !! So you see there's nothing you can do she has to do it for herself!!

Take her to do other things. The only way is to show her. Just take her with you and find some cool things to do. Don't even tell her where you are going just get her to agree to layoff for a while. Ignore those addicts that answered "there is nothing else to do". That's because they are also addicts and have fried their brain to the point that they can't think anymore.

Ure right there are lots of people that aren't taking drugs at the weekends, instead they are trying at there wits end to score some and thats the reality of it sad but true.
Look its her life and nothing you can do will influence her decisions with drugs, let her make her own mistakes and in time she will learn and grow, but for now live and let live....

Watch your friend die a slow death. These are not the type of friends worth keeping. Mind your own business and walk away OR talk to her and if she wont listen, tell it to her parents IF you really want to care and possibly be hated for life.

YOU CANNOT HELP SOMEONE WHO WILL NOT HELP THEMESELVES. IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT YOU SAY TO THEM THEY HAVE TO WANT TO CHANGE ON THERE OWN. THIS IS HOW SHE FEELS. THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING TO DO BUT IT SOUNDS LIKE THIS IS ALL SHE WANTS TO DO ON WEEKENDS. SHE COULD REALLY FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO DO I MEAN JUST LOOK AROUND. EXCUSES ONLY SATISFY THOSE WHO MAKE THEM AND SHE SOUNDS LIKE THE PERFECT EXAMPLE.

she says there is nothing to do - so why not suggest somewhere or something you could both do together? Cinema, club maybe?
