Hi, I'm a little stuck on this question.

I have the original graph y=x(6-x)

And I have another graph with points that go through (0.0), (1.5,4.5) and (3,0)

I think that it has been compressed by horizontally and vertically. And I believe the function of the is y=1/2f(2x). But I'm not sure. I'm wondering what the equation of this line would be. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The original equation passes through both (0,0) and (6,0); it also passes through (1.5,6.75), but its vertex is at (3,9).

It definitely looks like the second graph has been compressed both vertically and horizontally by a factor of 2, while retaining a fixed point at (0,0).

New graph is y = x(3-x).
