Daytona Beach Florida???

Question

I am going on vacation to Daytona beach and I have been there several times so I kinda know my way around but I don't know where any good restaurants are I want to know where a good place that has excellent coffee so where is a coffee house at? and my sister wants to know where a good japanese restaurant is at?

Tarafuku, at 1500 Beville Rd (in the Publix shopping center, corner of Clyde Morris Blvd and Beville) [phone] is an amazingly good place to eat. They have the best sushi in the state.
As far as decent coffee, it's a Herculean feat to find a decent cup in Daytona. Check in a bagel shop-- it's your only hope. They don't even sell specialty beans in the supermarkets.

I was actually just there last weekend. A great place to eat is on Beach St, right next to International Speedway (before you go over the bridge off the mainland). It's called The Dancing Avacado Kitchen and they have very good food. The Barbefu sandwich was awesome. It also has a neat coffeehouse aspect to it, so hopefully you'll enjoy it.

That same night we went out and ate at Tokyo Japanese Restaurant. This was on Nova Rd just south of Granada (techinically, its Ormond Beach). It is your typical Japanese steakhouse, complete with the grills at the table where they cook for you and everything. My girlfriend and I both had Sushi, which came in very large portions and was only so-so. I do not know how the grill part would be, but as I said the sushi was only decent and they did screw up one thing we ordered. Aside from that though, the service was good.

there's a bbq restaurant close to the highway-- don't remember exactly where but it's by a Target. I had to stop there because everywhere else was packed and the food was awesome and the coffee too (very pleased)
