Listen to him. He probably makes more sense than most people!

I have a real phobia of drunks on buses so I would move far away - even if it meant standing for the entire journey. If it was at all practical to do so I would actually get off and wait for the next bus/train or walk.

If you an reach it ring the bell for the bus to stop and tell someone you are being harrassed. I should think the entire bus will know what the problem is. If you can't reach the bell ask the person in front or behind you for help

Rant and rave with him. I hate feeling left out.

Move to another seat or ask the bus driver to throw him off at the next stop.

Hold my breath and look the other way - if its a short rant/journey.
If its a long one i would have to get up and move away.

I would honestly move-it's nothing personal but I just want to go about my business and he might not mean any harm but I don't want to cause any friction or anything so I'll politely move downstairs, somewhere I can see him or where there are more people.

I say "excuse me" as I get up to move seats. If he then rants at me I ignore him and continue to move. If he raises a hand then I grab it and dislocate his arm!

step over him and get away fast, move to the front of the bus, then tell the driver.....OR sit there and shake till he's gone....
