A few weeks ago I was so tired all I wanted to do was crawl in bed and sleep for about a week. I got into the shower and felt like I was just about to fall out (I eventually did, LOL) I layed my head against the wall and closed my eyes thinking I will just rest my head here for a minute, next thing I know, the shower curtain is gone, there are soaps, shampoos conditioners, etc...etc...all over the place and I can't move......my legs are still in the tub and my head is on the floor with a knot at least the size of a golf ball. I didn't sleep long. lol It could have been worse I guess. Luckily it wasn't.

Get your a*s to bed sooner sweety. I have spent YEARS of getting no sleep, partying like crazy, working 2 and 3 jobs, you can become Narcoleptic if you do it too often. I found out the hard way, even if you stack your hours every other day you are better than going day after day with no sleep. Here is what happened I FELL ASLEEP IN THE MIDDLE OF DRIVING and I was also drinking a cup of coffee, my eyes closed and that was all I remember. Mind you I had gone MONTHS with maybe 2 hours of sleep per night if any, I was working out of Ft. Meade, and I was up from 5:45 and might have gotten back to sleep around 3AM. Going to school at night in Real Estate, and partying....so I was way beyond tired. I was taking my daughter to Day Care that morning...and the next thing I knew I was hitting a sand filled road divider which scraped down the side of my brand new car taking off the review mirror, it could have been way worse WAY worse...but lesson learned, I called straight into work and told them in no uncertain terms that I was not coming in and what happened. I was even honest with my insurance company. I needed to face that I had pushed myself farther than I could handle and needed to get control. SO, realize you a HUMAN sweety. GET REST because what good are you to others if you dont take care of yourself??? When your exhausted, tired, you cant possibly help but drop the ball, and it will happen at the worst possible time. So do be careful. Take Care-Rachel.

I do it all the time. The "almost" thing that could have happened
was falling out of a second floor window.

It was just your typical day waiting for the FedEx guy. You know how boring that is. If you don't keep an eye out, they'll post a note, and you'll need to call for delivery. Then they force you to wait until the next day.

As I was waiting, I started to fall asleep standing there. To keep myself awake I started to rock a little. Then it happened,
I fell asleep. When I did my knees gave out. That caused me to fall. Fortunately I started to fall sideways. If I fell straight, it would of been a 30 foot drop. After that I started using a chair.

It normally happens when I wake up really early and go out and travel lots of places until late at night. When I get ready for bed, I fell asleep standing as the shower cream making me really tired!

OUCH!!

I fell asleep on the toilet once... My X took pictures. But that was drug-induced. I'm not sure if that counts.
