I speak english better than I speak my own language!! I'm ashamed and I dont know what to do! I have no idea how I got there.. I spent some time in the US as a kid.. actually about a year when I was in 3rd grade..

Last year I had a fever and I kept hallucinating in English and if they spoke my native language infront of me I didnt understand! When I'm drunk English is the only language I understand!

I primarilly listen and watch songs and movies in English. I speak mostly in English with my friends and I'm majoring in English Literature simply because it's the thing I know best! I've always been good at English and I never even learned it at school, never memorized the grammar rules like all the other kdis in my country.

I'm just wondering why or how come? Am I psychologically more in love with the English language and culture than my own?!

You have been "anglitized". It happens in North America. People different tongues start spitting English words into their own languages.

eg. Je vais aller a New York City

Haha, I'm considered one of them, however it isn't necesarily the whole thing. Compared to my father and I, my father, a local Chinese speaker, speaks larger English than I, a local English speaker. But it simply is dependent upon the sort of character that you're and the way aware of the language, specially English. I imply I'm studying Spanish, and a local Spanish character within the equal degree as I has an less complicated time than I do. In my (honors) English elegance final 12 months, one man who was once in ESL for three-four years (he is a local Hindi speaker) ended up right here in my elegance. In truth, he is in English I Honors and I'm in simply consistent English I. Everything varies for each and every one of a kind character. Every character is special and I disagree along with your assertion despite the fact that I are compatible into your class. And sure, I'm gambling satan's recommend right here.

I'm not a psychologist but it's not unusual to be fascinate with a culture that's not your own. I think alot of people are. I studied Roman History in College and I think that Roman History is fascinating. I think American History is a bore!!!!!! I prefer English(U.K) literature to American literature for the most part.
You grew up inundated with your culture, too you, it's probably boring whereas someone else would probably find it fascinating. I think that alot of people are excited by going out of there own cultural refrence zone and delving into something new and different.

P.S. when I was in college I used to dream in Latin,LOL!!!!!!
