if you bought it new, the dealer might have the key code on file. if you didn't, the dealer still might be able to get it from the bike manufacturer. or you could see if the person you bought it from has another key laying around.

Another option that worked for me:
I had a key break off in the camper doorknob. Got the piece out. I went to the local hardware store. He was still able to clamp the 2 pieces in the cutter machine. With a little wiggling it lined up. Lucky me, a new key for $2.50. The alternative was to replace the whole lock.

Your best hope is to call the dealer with your VIN number, otherwise you might try the previous owner, maybe they kept a spare.

Other thing you might try is calling a lock smith, see if there is anything they can do with the broken key, they might still be able to make a copy.

you have to take the ignition out and take it to a locksmith. i had to do this 2 seperate times. once bcuz my key broke while i was opening my trunk and the second time i lost my key. it shouldnt be that expensive. i payed $30. good luck!
