There may be a way to predict beyond chance some accurate information from the future. Time is not linear so the future is happening now as a dimension (thank you string theory and quantum physics for all the confusion).
Precognition has been demonstrated in some remote viewing experiments (describing a target before the target is selected). Research continues on ESP including precognition.
While one can not predict your future to 100% accuracy because you have choices along the way that will impact your life one might be able to predict situations or events that you will face. Of course some predictions like "someone close to you will die in your life time" is meaningless but more specific information may be for real. Of course when visiting any psychic use the same precautions you would use visiting the doctor or buying a used car "consumer beware"
I have included a link to the Parapsychological Association below.
Please see my question in this section on supporting parapsychology as a science.

This is very difficult to answer for me as I am in two minds about it.
On the one hand I would love to believe in psychics and divination (and I have had strange unexplained things happen to me and my friends) otherwise this world would be a very dull and boring place to live in. On the other hand, I am rather a rational, logical person who tends towards the scientific side. I have dabbled in some divination myself and a lot has come true (coincidence, I'm not sure). I am generally sceptical, yet open-minded (if you know what I mean?!) because I haven't experienced or scientifically tested it personally.
Basically, to answer your question, the only way to get a good answer is to try divination yourself (or have a knowledgeable friend to do it for you). Don't get ripped-off by people selling readings though! There are many websites and library books out there to help you find out about this stuff. If you do try all this, good luck and more importantly - enjoy!

One person once told me a lot of things would happen and i just laughed it off. Then most things she predicted did actually happen. But then after that ... With a few friends we visited a few psychics/Fortunes tellers/Mediums and it's like everything else! Some of them were good if others were not. So it's pot luck i'm afraid. Reason why after a few months or so of this ... Most of us gave up!
I have to tell you though that first one i've ever seen did tell me that all she could see was what might happen if it was my choice to let it happen or not.

There is a way to tell your POSSIBLE future. Fortune telling is never written in stone. It's the most likely outcome considering past and present events. Divination is like looking at a map. You look at where you cam from and where you are and you see the possible directions to take and where you will end up with each.

Well, that's an excellent question!
In our 3D reality we think of time as linear - with past, present and the future - which to us, has yet to happen.
But in the multi-dimensional reality, although this is hard for us to comprehend - everything is happening at the same time.
So yes, someone with 'psychic' capabilities could certainly have the ability to channel into this energy - and many do.
I've visited tarot readers before, and they have certainly mentioned key things in my future (and my past life) which could not be co-incidence.
So, although it may not bring actual financial rewards (like winning lotto numbers), I certainly believe there is truth in the ability to foretell someone's future to an extent yes - and it certainly depends in no small part upon the subject themselves and their own aura/ability to be read.

Well I am no expert, but I do believe that there are people out there that can see the futre within themseleves and for others, but to be honest I'd rather leave it a mystery because it takles the variousness out of life.

Maybe.
Little events, like lottery numbers or whether you'll have a good day tomorrow might not be clear yet, however the bigger events, marriage, kids, and probably predictable. I'd get a good physic.

A reading will show you what is going on in your life (situation) and show you how you can work your way through it, and show you a possible outcome. But you always have free will and can change your path at any time.
