Fred Thompson. He is winning over the conservative vote, which holds the keys to the White House. He will continue the current trends that the US is taking (prosperity and safety).

Even though I am a fan of some of the GOP candidates (Thompson to a degree, big Rudy fan) -- I do not realistically view the Republicans as electable, and it's simply due to this whole "America wants a change" mentality. The right can thank Bush for this, because they will have to deal with a Democrat President for at least one term, but more realistically two.
That said, it gets interesting.
I follow politics very closely, and just cannot bring myself to believe that the Dems will nominate Hillary Rhodam Clinton. It just will not happen.. She will be viewed as overall non-electable, and too polarizing for the far left.
That said, I say it is a 50/50 split between Barack Obama, or John Edwards.
Irrespective I think that either will bring a grizzled, tough, veteren type with them as VP -- Senator Joseph Biden of Connecticut.
If I had to guess, I would say that Obama/Biden defeat Thompson/Giuliani in 2008.

Well, in fact, I can't figure out that someone will win the 08 Presidential Elections. you know, wise people know that everything is changing, the world is changing and people are changing and they need of peace, happiness, food, clothes, protection, hospitals, amusement etc.. A country need of a new head, someone that can create new opportunities of life and preserve the peace and build a new tomorrow for that one who can't afford to do something in his life.

Fred! Conservative border security "pull up a chair and we'll talk" guy.
Too many people hate Hillary and she is so far to the left. Rudy has turned out to be a pro-amnesty twit.
