Nvidia has several different products that support HDMI for desktops. The Nvidia Geforce, Geforce M (or Geforce Go), and Quadro series boards with PureVideo technology have HDMI compatibility. Most are kinda pricey, but you can see them all on nivdia.com, search for PureVideo technology.

Yes there are a few Nvidia Cards with HDMI there are more ATI cards with it though. Here is a list from Newegg of all the HDMI Nvidia cards they sell.

Yes, but they seem to lagging behind ATI in that department. Look at the GeForce 7 & 8 series processors.

Probably not, but I believe you can buy DVI to DHMI converters / cables to have same effect.
