It happened during ww2 and nothing has changed since then .
All you have to do is go back to the civil rights disturbances and see the connection between the state and the deaths of dozens of protesters and the record of police assaults since that time up and to this day .

We've gotten way too close for comfort. Hopefully Bush will allow his term to expire, and not declare Martial Law as a means of holding on to power.

After watching this again- I am more convinced then ever that they didn't tase him soon enough.
He was violating everyone else's right to ask questions by disregarding the parameters laid out for the session and acted like a monkey when forced to give up the mike.

He resisted Arrest and rushed the stage that a US senator was on.
What he did was illegal. The police were within police guidelines it was not a freedom of speech issue.
