My partner and I have been ttc for about a year and I have just been diagnosed with PCOS. My doctor has given me Metformin and I have been taking it for about 4 weeks, I have just been reading about a herbal supplement called Vitex and was wondering if anyone has tried this and seen inprovements? Can i take them both together?

hey I also have pcos, I am currently on metformin 500mg twice a day, I no how it feels to be ttc for a long time, i have been ttv for 4 1/2 years now, just recently got diagnose with PCOS, I tried vitex before, but it was with the fertilaid, it was reccomended to take for 3 cycles but I only took it for 2 it regulate my period a whole lot, as far as taking it with Metformin I am not to certain about that, call your dr for advise on that,

PCOS TTC#1 for 4 1/2years
did 3 cycles of clomid 50mg alone nothing happen
currently taking clomid 100mg (3-7), Metformin 500mg twice a day, Materna, and folic acid

GP and OB/GYN in many situations don't be attentive to sufficient with regard to the ailment to make the diagnosis. somebody like an endocrinologist or a RE (reproductive endocrinologist) is greater probable to get an acurate diagnosis.

my doc suggested duphaston for me.
