I'm not sure I can keep it...my friend says just to turn the cushion over. What would you do?

Well scrub it!
Or you'll have a nasty stain and urine smell
then flip it over!

Send it home with your acquaintance -don't invite them back !
Get a wet/dry vac-while it is running poor white vinegar water over the wet spot -and change until the urine is gone then roll up towels and apply something heavy to soak up the water keep changing the towels until you cannot feel any dampness --Let it air dry -
If you can still smell urine you can use a pet Oder remover on it . You have to get the major portion of urine out first tho or it will smell forever .

Call the guy up and tell him to rent a steam cleaner and come clean up his own pee you shouldn't have to turn the cushion over

This really happened to me. MY roommate's friend, to much jager and my sofa! I threw it out. It was time for a new one anyway.
