Could someone help me with some ideas for a poem. I was learning about While Hester Prynne was a fictional character, imagine what might have happened if Anne Bradstreet had been an observer of Hester's public shame. Put yourself in Bradstreet's shoes and write a poem in response to Hester's story. Could someone help me with ideas or starters of a poem

Here's a suggestion: take a Bradstreet poem (a short one) and use her form/meter/etc. to comment on Hester's public shame. Your teacher will see Bradstreet in the poem because you've used her style, and you can change the words so it shows her perception of Hester's situation. You'll also get to read some Bradstreet and use your noggin to construct something original for your homework assignment.

good luck

Dumb old Hester did a poo poo,
And it made ugly ole Annie go woo hoo!
Not only did he have a crap name,
But sh*tting in public put him to shame.
