The cost and Quality of health care needs to be attacked at the local level. (state oversight of regional evaluators) The amount of money soaked up by hospitals is not looked at in Detail. I have been on medicade for 4 years due to medical problems and have a LONG list of small incidents, $75. here, $125 there, and $800. over there, all having provided superfluous or sub-standard care.

Also, as much as people rant and rave about drug companies, they do marvelous things. I am being healed very well now by them (and My Own efforts, and others too.). The lawsuits against them and the financial damage done, and the number of drugs no longer available is out of control. There needs to be more activity of control by States.
Not by Republicans or Democrats at the national level.

These problems require very intelligent, hardworking and selfless people to solve.

Actually they do have a plan. Don't get sick.
That is their health care plan.

You are right. I have noticed the same thing. They do a lot of whining and complaining about the plan offered by the Democrats but don't offer an alternative. Perhaps the alternative will be better than what the Democrats are offering. Maybe a combination which takes features from those of the Democrats and Republicans and puts them together in a great health care system. We have done it before, America, why not now?

Come on Republicans, let's see your heath care plan.

Feb. 3--FEB. 3, 2007 -- California Senate Republicans have unveiled an appealing plan to improve the availability and affordability of health care for all residents without imposing new taxes or forcing businesses or individuals to buy or provide anything.

Goggle it!

They have already got our 2 present day events wrapped around their arms oh so tightly.

No they aren't--and that's unfortunate. Anyone can see that our health care system is badly in need of reform. And we need ideas--REAL ideas--from all sides in order to hammer out a good policy approach.

Right now we are getting ideas only from the liberal side--and while someare good, others need some work. But what we are going to get is a one-sided approach that won't serve to address the issue as well as it could and should be addressed.

This kind of situation is why the "neoconservatives" are a liability to the GOP and to America. They still have control of the GOP--but all they have to offer is political rhetoric, ideological rants, and slogans. We need thoughhtful ideas and debate--and that's not happening. Quite simply, when it comes to the issues, thats all they have to offer--and they are preventing legitimate conservatives from having their say.

Conservative are busy fighting ofF this kind of mindset. The government has no right to be involved in my healthcare at any level. I have a God given right to my choices that is protected by the constitution. I am not about to watch a bunch of naive people led by power hungry politicians socialize our healthcare system. It is completly irresponsible and will destroy the quality of healthcare in the country along with the economy.

To you liberal parasites....... get your irresponsible butt off the couch and make your own choices. It is not the job of taxpayers to pay for your healthcare. If you are conviced you can't "afford" it, maybe you should cancel your cell phone and cable TV plans. Try eating at home more often and quit buying houses and cars outside of your range. Purchasing your health insurance should take priority over all the wants and luxuries you think you need. Quit your cronic complaning and fend for yourself.

For those that need health care and "honestly" can't afford it, you are already able to get health care for free because of the law. For those that honesly need help, we are willing to help. It's hard to figure out who truly needs help because so many loosers lie and sponge of the responsible citizens.

OPEN YOUR EYES. THIS SOCIALIZED HEALTHCARE BS IS BEING SOLD TO YOU BY LIBERALS UNDER FALSE WORDING. THEY WANT POWER OVER THE CITIZENS. THEy HAVE CHOSEN TO GET THAT BY TRYING TO MAKE US DEPENDENT ON THEM FOR CARE.

IT IS WRONG, UNJUST, CORRUPT, DECEPTIVE, VILE, IMMORAL, SINFUL, AND GREEDY TO TRY TO PASS THIS SOCIALIZED CRAP OF ON US TO GET MORE POWER.

Paying our own way and advocating giving to charities that help (of a persons own free will, not force) as well as encouraging states to take up the fight and cut the federal government out of it. Congress and the feds need to know their place.

What is the left doing about it besides trying to force me and others like me to pay for everyone's health care?

Mike Huckabee has spoken about cradle to grave care and Mitt Romney instituted a health plan (similar to Hillary's) in MA. I have not heard extensive debate over health care from the Republican party.

We Republicans are trying desperately to fight off socialism in our country, and if medicine is socialized, everything else will follow. What you people don't get is that by fighting off goverrnment interference in healthcare, we ARE doing something for healthcare.

Just ask the Canadians who are jumping the border by the thousands to have life-saving surgeries in the U.S. how well their socialized medicine plan seems to be working up there. The waiting lists are so long that many of them DIE before their names come up. Do you REALLY want that here too? And do you want to force a mess like that on everyone else?

If you do, then who are you calling a douchebag? I really don't care if you want to screw up our health care system, but "want" is the operative word here. Leave the rest of us out of it, please.
