I know traditionally monitors are measured diagonally - but what about the new widescreen models? Is a 19" widescreen monitor still 19" from corner to corner?

Yes, still corner to opposite corner.

If you do the math you will also find out that widescreen monitors have less area than the 'same' size full frame. The total resolution tends to be smaller too.

you would be able to desire to properly known the ratio of the exhibit screen. Then use the Pythagorean theorem to remedy for the width and top. Is it a sixteen:9? 4:3? ok, I see now that that is widescreen, so that is sixteen:9. subsequently, your video exhibit is 7.ninety one" x 4.40 5", plus the physique border, etc.

From left to right side.

Start with the brim of the monitor and measure to the other brim.
