Yes they can and do, and with no extra insurance premiums, that should verify that the myth is indeed that.
I live in here in Bermuda and we see from 2 to 7 cruise ships per week.

Yes they can and I have been through it many times on cruise ships. But when you are there you do not feel any different. Since the Island of Bermuda must import almost all of its food, cargo ships regularly go through the triangle to dock there. And the same goes for Miami and the Virgin Islands which make up the other points on the triangle. Almost any fishing or sail boat that leaves these places will be in the triangle.

What do you mean "now a days"? They have NEVER stopped traveling through that part of ocean... and hundreds pass through there on a daily basis.
