Nope. I would rather her ask. At least it shows she cares about what I'm thinking instead of just yakking about what she's thinking.

My wife does that nearly every day, it can get tiresome.
Usually thinking about work. I try to come up with something more intellectual " I was thinking about the correlation of higher interest rates and the immigration rate".

So give an answer. If you are thinking about food, say it. She is testing out to see if you are a conversationalist(makes women interested in you) or just a lump on a log(Pet peeve, if you don't answer).

Some times! What really aggravates me is when I am upset they will keep on and on wanting me to tell them whats wrong when I tell them to wait tell I cool down first, then they don't then I get mad at them then they get mad at me for getting mad at them and it just goes on and on and on. I give up!!
