Myra Estrin Levine, 75, a professor of nursing at the University of Illinois at Chicago, died Wednesday in the Hospice of the North Shore at Evanston Hospital.

A Glenview resident, she was with the university for 10 years when she retired in 1987 as professor emeritus. From 1967 to 1977, she was an associate professor at the nursing schools of Loyola and Rush universities.
