I need some help on making a metaphor and a simile for police sirens and police lights

I am writing a two paragraph thing for school and it is about being caught in a snow storm


( the police sirens and lights are because of accidents caused by the snow storm )

The police sirens were as bright as strobe lights at a dance clubs because there were so many of them.

The sirens were as loud as a T-REX roaring for it's dinner.
