tank is good but he has an eight game suspension and wont be ready until novemeber, october 18th at the greatest. Plus they're gonna put him at nose tackle, which is a postition hes never played before. The Cowboys have been doing fine this year and now they grab somebody which character problems. I guarantee him and TO will be best friends

I think Tank will be a good addition to the Cowboy's game plan. He will be taking the place of a lineman who isn't even over 300 lbs. The Cowboys biggest downfall on there line is that they have not been matching up to other teams offensive lines size wise. Put him in the middle to clog the running lanes, and we have Spears and Ware to pick up whatever tries to escape around the sides, you will have a very potent run stopping defence. I will say that he will need to get in a little better shape to hang with the Cowboy's blitz defence. I'm excited to see how he plays. You can speculate all you want, but the real talking is done on the field. Also with shut down corner-back Terrance Newman returning for the Bears game, Sunday should be a fun game to watch. The Cowboy's took a chance on T.O., and they havent had any problems out of him this season, so please, why bash T.O., he has done nothing this year except catch the ball, and make touchdowns.

Suspended protective address Tank Johnson signed a 2-12 months settlement Tuesday with the Dallas Cowboys. Johnson, who performed the final 3 seasons for the Chicago Bears, can no longer play for the Cowboys till he completes his 8-activity NFL suspension for violating probation on a gun cost. He has served the 1st 2 video games of that suspension.

As a bears fan I will tell you it is a great pick up if he could find a way to stay out of trouble. (won't happen) But the missing piece is putting Roy WIlliams at linebacker and getting a real safety to play the safety position. He is the weak spot on the defense.
Please also remember he is coming from a 4-3 defense and is going into a 3-4 defense where he will be the only Dt on the field. That is a huge difference.

I think Tank Johnson fit better in the system of Lovie Smith, but still he didn't have that great of production, so I don't see how he's going to fit in the Cowboys Uniform, of course all this is just speculation, we have to wait and see how the guy play first before we can call this a "steal" or a "bust"

A consistent run game and Newman healthy is all I think they need to make a run at it. Cowboys got Spellman who was passed his prime who was another sought after Bear about ten years back. Only time will tell if Tank turns out to be a steal like Charles Haley or a bust like Spellman.

He is an average lineman at best.

I saw him here in Chicago. He's gone and the Bears, even with 2 starters out this year, haven't missed a beat on defense.

One player does not make a football team.

He'll be more trouble down the road , trust me.

I think that it's funny that you put "Cowboys" and "steal" in the same sentence.

The cowboys are already a great team but they will be even better with Tank on the team. This was a great pick up for them!

Yes they did get a good steal.

Personally I think they could take the NFC without him, but this will seal the deal for the Cowboys.

Take it from me, who has not missed a Bears game in years - he is average at best. He was not a starter for the Bears!! He only started because of two injuries, and look at his numbers. He was not that productive. He is not a horrible player, but he will not make your defense that much better. Like I said, he was not even a starter for the Bears.
