It's NOT that He couldn't.

I no the question is about controling your children. But you don't know much about GOD otherwise you would never make that remark.

Go to parenting class or something. My parents control me fine, and that's a result of them having great parents.

Lead by example.

God was not always present in the Garden. If he was, Eve would probably not have listened to the serpent.

God gave us all the freedom to choose what to do in any situation. Eve chose to follow a talking serpents advice. Adam chose to follow Eve. The fault, if you can call it that, belongs to both of them.

Yes, grandchildren are the ultimate reward for doing a good job as a parent, or the ultimate revenge ( " May you have children that behave just like you" , my mother used to say- and sure enough, I did). LOL

Maybe "The G" is screwing with your head to get back at humanity...LOL! What do you think?
Children are wired to have some level of independent pursuit of their curiosity. It is our duty as parents to keep them safe the best we can, but still allowing them to learn effectively. Yes, it is a difficult and perplexing balance!
To answer your last question I must say I completely disagree!
Our gift is to share their innocence, experience their love, feel the rewards of accomplishment, and eventually be recognized even if in secrecy! Not to get back at our children through grandchildren!!! What about those who have no grandchildren?
(I will not even consider the Adam/Even culpability issue and blah blah blah!!! It has no participation regardless of faith!)

this is an thrilling theory, however the context of the passage approximately cursing the fig tree shows some thing else (Matthew 21). observe that merely in the past the fig tree incident, Jesus cleared the moneychangers out of the temple. And merely after the fig tree the subsequent passage is back interior the temple back. This time he has a war of words with the supervisor clergymen and elders. it is undemanding interior the Bible for a considerable element to be defined by employing 2 comparable issues merely in the past and after it (like bookends). here the element is that the temple and the worship based in it are finished. It had develop into corrupt and can be cursed and wither like the fig tree, which for this reason replaced into an illustration of the temple. In Genesis, the fig leaf masking had greater to do with Adam and Eve attempting to conceal themselves as though to conceal their sin. remember that the 1st ingredient they knew while that they had sinned replaced into that they've been bare. Nakedness itself isn't sin, however the shame of understanding our nakedness is equated to the shame of understanding our sin. of course it did no longer conceal or conceal the fact. Later God provided a masking of animal skins. the element there replaced into greater that God delivers the masking or that God delivers the forgiveness. the suitable masking might of course be Jesus. Jesus is the only that ultimately "coated" our sins, gave us forgiveness. Now that i think of approximately it, there may well be a diffused, distant connection. merely like the fig leaf, a human answer, did no longer paintings for Adam and Eve, in step with threat the fig tree (symbolizing the temple) is likewise a human answer that did no longer paintings. nonetheless we would desire to be careful to no longer tension too plenty meaning on some thing in completely distinctive contexts. stable, thrilling question.

our gift as parents is the gift of life and forgiveness. this is why God loves all His children. don't you know why Jesus died for us.
our children give us grandchildren. not the other way around.
i do not agree with your narrow minded statement.

Dont mix Religion with Parenting. Just raise your kids to know right from wrong. Teach them compassion, humility and understanding, then respect their life choices and support them being independant.

Blame, blame blame. When do children accept responsibility for their own actions? Then, as parents, we are responsible to allow consequences without interference, else, how will they learn?

There is no god and I a great father> I would never encourage my son to believe in religious nonsense. Teaching kids religious is bad parenting as far as I'm concerned.

God still loves His children even though they/we did/do wrong.
Do you still love your children even after they've upset you? They are a part of you. You need to learn to forgive them and teach them to do right and accept them for who they are.
