When you hear hooves, assume horses, but keep your mind open to zebras as well.

I once bought a bottle of white spirit. Around the neck of the bottle, in raised script, Braille and moon was the inscription:

My father advised me when I was about 10 or 11 never to smoke because 'you will want to give it up and you will find it so difficult to give up.' I am so grateful to him for this frank advice. He smoked 60 a day but managed to quit.

It came from my parents, & it has kept myself, my younger sister, & my 2 younger brothers, off drugs, smoking, underage drinking & pre-marital sex!

It was:

You know what is right for you, you know what is wrong for you. You know what is good for you, you know what is bad for you. You have a brain-use it!"
