Johnny Carson is so far above Leno (and the rest of late night entertainers) he's got a NOSE BLEED !!!!! I'd bet, if they put on Carson re-runs, his ratings would beat the rest of the boobs !! In fact, I'd rather watch Carson re-runs than the rest of these so called late night hosts. The only time I even tune in Leno or the others, is I know a certain guest is gonna be on. I never watch these shows on a regular basis.
Carson was one of a kind.....there is no one to fill his shoes. I really miss him.

Johnny Carson, hands down. Jay Leno is also very good, but Carson was much more well-rounded.

Carson all the way. He was one of the greatest talk show hosts ever! Leno is good, but he will never fill Carson's shoes!

In this time and space, Leno. In the years when Carson ruled the evening, he had no competition. I don't think American's of this generation would 'get' Carson.

Even though I'm too young to have been old enough to see him on the Tonight show ( he left in '93? I was just a little child) It's very ovous that he was way better. Very funny, and the ledgend, best late night talk show host ever
Jay Leno is pretty good, but I can't wait untill Conan takes over the Tonight show cuz he is my absolute favorite

Jonny Carson, a gentleman and a class act.
I hate to see that Conan will someday replace Leno though.

Oh, Johnny was more fun! He even had a side-kick! Like a super hero... and something about him I can't put my finger on (and no it's not THAT! gutter mind! lol...)
Then there's Jay, he's a cool guy, and his interviews push the envelope harder than Johnny's ever did, cause Jay knows we want the dirt on these celebs!

Carson.......... Leno is good, but for me, Carson was one of the best.
