If you mean since smoking ban enforcement, to be honest personally I have not notice any changes in my friends smoking habits. The difference is you can not smoke in closed places, so there is more people smoking outside. Gets very friendly, loud and it is all happening outside pubs, bars, and restaurants, where all smokers are gathering.

If you consider it generates plenty of tax in America you must see the tax they cost on a packet in England!! A packet of 20 cigarettes in England is over £five (someplace round $eight/nine relying at the alternate cost now). Yes plenty of men and women in Europe smoke.

I would say in south of europe: yes, they smoke a lot.
In the north of europe: it's slowly "going out of style".

Yes, there are people in Europe still smoking a lot. For "Freedom" : you could be "Freedom", but you are not free to give information that are not true. Did you see, in Romania, people smoking in stores or buses? Let's be serious !

People smoke very much in many parts of Europe, especially in Paris and in Holland. And in Italy too, in particular: students!

Yeah, the do smoke unfortunatelly, but only not in ma room, theres a HUGE Note on ma wall -A NON SMOKING AREA. If i see smoke, i will consider you are of fire and take appropriate actions !!! hehehe

The last time I was there, they were still going at it pretty hot and heavy....no pun intended. LOL
My son's in Rome now, and he says yes, they do like to smoke..............a lot!
