excellenet question. As a former mammographer, I have a couple of opinions. I am against them for cosmetic reasons. They obscure 95% of the natural breast tissue on subsequent mammograms. To me, this is an unacceptable risk. IN cases of post-mastectomy reconstruction, the breast tissue is gone anyway, so implant away if you want.
I tell you what though, a bad boob job, too tight, too high, assymetrical, nipples pointing any which way....it's a hell of a job to fix those and I've seen plenty that needed fixing, but the women just wanted to leave well enough alone after the experience.
As a woman, I was always repulsed by teh complete "fakeness" of our implant clients. Colored hair, over tanned skin, abundance of make-up, fake nails, capped teeth....just to where you'd want to shake them and say WOMAN!!?? Where are you in there??!!

It just all depends on how old the person is who's getting them and how big they are. I've got no problems with someone who is mature enough to make that decision getting them. I do, however, have a problem with girls who are 16 & 18 years old getting them. Their bodies haven't even physically matured yet. I was a B cup until I turned 24, then all of a sudden, hello DD's! I also don't like the ridiculous sideshow sized ones. I do think that some women act very catty towards other women who have had breast augmentation though. I don't know why. I guess it is some deeply ingrained competetiveness that women seem to have with one another.

Yeah... I think that's just women being catty towards each other.
I'm fine with them personally, I am kinda rough on the titty's so I worry about damage to them. On the safety issue, it makes me slow down, but on the attraction issue. it's a hot button. Always has been, always will be.

Some woman judge other woman too harshly. It usually stems from jealously. If a woman wants to get plastic surgery, it's fine with me. It's the person on the inside that counts.

I think a nice rack is a nice thing to have as long as it's not super huge where it's obvious that it's fake. If you're a 5 foot tall woman, you don't want DDD's because that would look goofy. a good C cup would be great.

Probably so---I personally have never had to even consider getting implants....but now that I am older a lift would be nice--but they would still be MINE.
I do have a best friend who was not as lucky as myself and she did get implants--but she just looks normal--not too big......so---- for women like her who do not go overboard.....
good for you and enjoy them.

I think they are crazy.
I am 'naturally boobylicious' according to my husband.
F bordering on G, let me tell you, they get in they way!
They also put a lot of strain on the neck and shoulders.
When you are 'busty' as I call it, you cease to be a person, just something men like to drool over. I find that annoying.
