OK well I believe we have a good chance this month...had sex at all the right times and today I saw my temperature spike....but I was wondering if any of you had any tips for what I can to do to help ensure implantation? I hope that doesnt sound silly but I figured anything I can do I will try it! Any herbs or food or drinks? Anything I should avoid? How about exercise...will that be detrimental? Thanks ladies!!

We have been ttc for over a year and it is hard. I especially am not fond of the "dont try so hard or dont stress" answers, is that is impossible. When a couple has been trying so hard and so long, that is virtually impossible. Our situation is based on my CM being too thick that the boys aren't swimming through. I have been trying the Robitussion method for this cycle and if that does not work in this cycle or next, we are seeing a fertility specialist to help the boys get up there. A friend of mine was told not to lift, bed rest or very light duty for a couple days after the spike to aid in implantation. She is now 3 weeks pregnant. I think the more your rest your body at inception, the better. Good luck to you!

Help With Implantation

Thats what my pregnant friends tell me too. to "stop trying" and it will happen. I guess thats how my friend got pregnant after 3 years. Ive been trying for over 4 years and nothing, so I just might take that advice soon. Its really HARD to live your life without being bombarded by babies and baby showers and birthday parties, things that remind you youre not a parent yet.
But heres what Im going to do to stop trying so hard.. Im going to stay off of "twoweekwait.com" because it just gets my brain flowing with all these symptoms, and I count down the days until I can test.
Im going to get Ovulation predictor kits so that I dont have to look at a chart constantly wondering if Im ovulating TODAY or next week. That just gets me obsessed!
Im going to buy some Vitex (to regulate my cycles) and use Preseed lube only when the OPK tells me I should

But now for your question. Ive heard that some women use a heating pad at night and lay on their stomachs and the warmth is supposed to encourage implantation. Im not sure if that actually works but its worth a try right?
You shouldnt have to change your schedule or excercise more or less. I'd say take a nice walk or jog if stress gets to you, but its all up to whatever you want to do
Ive also heard if you want to become pregnant you should EAT like youre pregnant. Stick to healthy foods and have veggies as snacks.. things like that. Stay away from lots of caffiene, but you never know. My friends all drink at least 3 cups of coffee a day, and pop afterwards and they still became pregnant.

Sometimes I think most of the things you hear from people are just old wives tales. If a heroin addict can get pregnant over and over, then Im sure a few cups of coffee a day or a cup or two of pop or some ice cream isn't going to affect your chances much, if at all.

I really hope you get what you want!

Yessiree! I store the stickers off of culmination and veggies (it began years in the past with Chiquita banana stickers) and stick them to the window body over my kitchen sink. I have approximately 50 up there now.

Implantation bleeding, also called implantation spotting, does not look like a regular menstrual period. Implantation bleeding is scanty and usually pink or brownish discharge.

Implantation bleeding or menstrual period?
Implantation bleeding normally occurs a week to a few days before your period would normally start. Spotting that occurs around a week after ovulation is likely implantation bleeding; whereas, spotting that occurs very close to the time that your period would normally start may not be. A normal menstrual cycle generally starts off light and then gets heavier. Spotting can sometimes be the sign of an early period. If this is the case, the spotting will pick up to heavier bleeding. If you have spotting right around the time your period would normally start, it can be more confusing. You will need to take the wait and see approach or take a pregnancy test to determine pregnancy.

What if I feel like my period is about to start?
If you have had spotting and think it might be implantation bleeding you may be paying very close attention to your body. If you are trying to get pregnant, the good news is that early pregnancy symptoms feel very similar to the start of your period. If you are pregnant you may begin to notice symptoms of early pregnancy right around the time your period would normally start and sometimes sooner than that. If you suspect pregnancy you can test for pregnancy as early as ten days after ovulation.

How common is implantation bleeding?
Implantation bleeding is fairly common with pregnancy. Twenty to thirty percent of women will have spotting during early pregnancy. If you have some light spotting before your period would normally start this is not something to worry about and may be a sign of pregnancy.

STOP TRYING TO GET PREGNANT.

Holy cow thats the best advice you're every going to get. The stress of trying to some how make it happen KEEPS IT FROM HAPPENING.

Have sex, live your life, and go about each day the same as always.

I fooled around with this nonsense for over a year before I took this sage advice. The month I finally stopped trying and hoping and wishing, was the month I got pregnant.
