when you've watched a great film or programme on tv & think, oh I'll just check out some actors name or the name of a song in the credits...then as soon as the credits role they are shrunk to the size of a peanut so they can tell you what's coming on next also ruining the music that's playing..... GOD IT ANNOYS ME SO MUCH

I agree wholeheartedly. You get a really good theme tune, ruined by the voice of some bloke telling you about another programme that's not relevant to the one you've been watching, and which you have no intention of watching.

Almost as irritating is the way the opening credits keep appearing on screen up to ten minutes into the start of a programme or film.

And finally, while I'm ranting, how about those stupid channel logos that get plastered all over the screen these days. Usually I can remember what channel I'm watching, without being reminded all the time.

Thanks. I'm glad I got that off my chest.

That bugs the crap out of me! I was watching An American Werewolf in London, and when the credits started rolling it crunched to the side to tell me about Sean Connery winning some award. I still don't know the name of the end credits song! GRR!

yepp I see the point.

that's why I watch mainly DVDs or pay TV - there the credits are original, in most cases.

that is so annoying. so is when someone changes the channel just as they tell you when the next in the series is on so you miss what they are saying, arrgh.
