I am also a huge Dodger fan and unfortunately I have to go with the later option.

Dodgers will not make the play-offs! Unfortunately, I guess...well, come to think of it, as long as the Rangers are out of the playoff hunt, I dont really care... :-)

It would take a miracle.
Their elimination number in the NL West is 4, so that is pretty much out of the question for them at this point.
As for the Wild Card, their elimination number is 8 but they need to climb over Philly and SD with CO tied with them now. Since CO plays at SD for three this weekend, that effectively makes their elimination number 5.

I would not say squeezed out, they are playing their way clearly out of the picture right now. It is sad to watch them do it again. They got worked in a DH yesterday and that was crucial, they are now tied with Colorado...COLO-freaking-RADO!!!! I never saw this coming before the season. It is time to start over with the offense and stop over paying for oft-injured pitchers.
