Hi guys, i'm having this prob wif dual channeling of RAM. As for now my MB is (http://www.msicomputer.com/product/p_spec.asp?model=945P_Platinum&class=mb)
and my RAM is VS2GBKIT667D2(1 GB X 2 DDR2 667 )(http://www.corsairmemory.com/products/value_select.aspx)
i check the MSI site it says my MB can suuport dual channel
but when i check wif cpu-z it says i'm on single channel..
any advise or help??

Just some suggestions:

1) You can try going into the bios to see what it going on in there.

2) Make sure the ram is seated in the right slots for dual channel, some times it's side by side, sometimes not.

3) Try the ram on another motherboard if you can.

It's kind of rare, but sometimes the motherboard and ram are not compatible, yes it will run and work fine, but dual channel will not work. Don't know why, but it happens.

Sounds like you've got 2 1 GiB modules which should allow you to use Dual Channel.

Check that your BIOS identifies it as Dual Channel (just in case CPU-Z is getting it wrong) and also RTFM to find out which slots you have to put the RAM in to get it working in Dual Channel.

Though if you can't get it to run in Dual Channel I wouldn't lose any sleep over it, the performance improvement is essentially meaningless in the real world anyway.
