The answer is, they wont learn. LSU wont make it to the title game anyway so their griping will soon end. They will lose to Florida who will in turn blow a game themselves. USC, well, they have a decent shot at the NC game but it isnt a lock. Sooner fans probably have the inside track to being a lock for the title game, but you dont see them going on about Big 12 this and Big 12 that. SEC people are funny like that, one favorite team isnt enough for them, they have the luxury of latching on to another SEC team when their first favorite team loses.

Do you even know the meaning of history? It's more than the last couple of years. Yeah they beat Auburn and Arkansas. They also lost to Tenn. in 82, South Carolina in 83, LSU in 84, Bama in 85, and even Auburn in 87. Then they didn't play an SEC team until 2002. Blowouts of no name teams? Va Tech was ranked in the top 20 and led the nation in defense in 05 and 06. Now who knows nothing about college football history? And glorious accomplishments? Oh that's right they beat that powerhouse Idaho and a team that was 22 and 15 over the last 3 years. Hardly glorious accomplishments. How about the fact that your Condoms rank 17th in total offense and that monster super-fast defense ranks 46th while giving up over 20 points a game and over 330 yards per game. After all that what gives you the right to tell anyone to keep their mouth shut. By the way since my Bama teams are 5 and 2 against the Condoms I guess I can talk all I want. Hey dcon all you can come up with is they will do this and they will do that. Let's deal in facts not what ifs. And your darned right SEC fans do have the luxury of being able to cheer for wiinning teams when their team has an off year. That's how good our conference is. You clearly sound like a twelve year old with tooooooo much time on your hands. Why not find your crayons and make something pretty, maybe try to feel a little better about yourself. Oh hey, you know what? Maybe even try going out for football, that way you might have a better respect or at least an understanding of the game.

PS: USC has to play better to match up with a top tier SEC team. If I remember correctly, the national championship last year was SEC vs. Big Ten. Who won that again?

I haven't heard someone from the SEC boast the fact that the SEC is the toughest conference in America right now unless it was in retaliation to someone else's misguided question. How can a team that is so good get that azz beat 2 unranked teams last year. USC's record against LSU is 1-1. If USC makes it to the championship game, which they won't, LSU will put the smack down on their over rated butts. Fool.

Yes they beat Nebraska, but that alone can't be described as a "glorious accomplishment", and adding a win over the Idaho Spuds actually hurts you more than it helps, doesn't it? Granted the SEC hasn't played anyone out of conference other than a EXTREMELY overrated VT team. Other than Tennessee getting completely destroyed by CAL. But you can't judge any team from either conference just yet, if USC and LSU are both undefeated and they do indeed play each other for the National Championship, then we'll see who wins. But more than likely both teams will lose. Things like this seem to never work out. You want two teams to play each other so bad, it's just destined not to happen.....

seriously, I hope you're not an SEC fan, when you have to go back to 1986 for USC to lose to a SEC team! You skipped right over the home and home they had with Arkansas and Auburn; 03/04 w/ Auburn, 05/06 w/ Arkansas. Which yes USC lost all.
