Most babies with reflux will puke all the time. Mine had silent reflux (odd name since all she did was scream) meaning that she was not puking, but the acid was coming up in her throat and burning her. By the time we diagnosed it, she was pretty tore up. We went through that at 5 weeks when she got the initial diagnosis, and at 11 months when she outgrew her dose of her medicataion. With my Gianna, there is no mistaking it.......her throat burned, she would burp/spit up this nasty acidy stuff, she was not gaining weight. One look in her thraot and the doc knew things were bad. she skipped the lesser meds and went right to the Prevacid. she has been on that since 5 weeks and is now 17 months. They hoped she would outgrow it, but no luck. she is now on a reflux diet, 1.5 cans of Pediasure per day, and general reflux precautions. She does great. You would never know by looking at her that there is anything wrong.

Both my boys had reflux. They grew out of if though. We used a special thickend milk made by cow and gate. If he is breast fed ask your G.P if their is anything you could add to expressed milk for him such as corn flour ectsomething natural maybe.
Reflux doesnt cause any harm to the baby, it just doesnt look nice! I am pretty sure he'll be fine and try not to worry ( too much ) about it. As the h.v said some babies are just like that im afraid.
( maybe he could be eating too fast! thats where the thickner comes in handy, it slows down their intake!! )
Good luck with this, and all things baby!

My son actually did that, it only lasted a short period of time. It was like just something he did because he realized a new way to do something with his body. Or maybe because his mouth was changing as he was growing and he had a gag reflex thing going on. Either way it didnt last long. I fed him smaller more frequent meals and it seemed to help during it.
I wouldnt put too much more too it. Doctors are always happy to medicate a child, regardless of whether it needs it or not. He's not barfing up all his meals, and he's not colicy beyond control, so leave it. It'll pass.

This is a natural program that you can try to cure your acid reflux http://acidreflux.toptips.org
Acid reflux disease, also known as gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD), occurs due to the coexistence of several medical and lifestyle conditions. Physiological factors that trigger GERD include lower esophageal sphincter (LES) hypotonia (the gradual weakening of the LES), along with retrograde flow of stomach contents into the esophagus, and the level of sensitivity of the esophageal mucus to the reflux content.

yes, remember it well my daughter had it 17 yrs ago, it tired me out coz what milk she took came back up, all over my shoulder when winding her, i ad to walk round with a tea towel stuck to my shoulder everytime i picked her up, we had many trips to the hospital, they told me it was reflux trouble, if she didnt grow out of it for 1yr old they would have to operate but lucky for her she stopped at 10 month old, dont worry this will pass just persevere, the constant crying, if thats what is happening as well is hunger, because the milk comes back up, its as though they`ve not been fed. hope this helps.

In my estimation it sounds like the baby is eating too fast and taking in air. Unless there is something stuck, it may be that the tike has a milk intolerance.
