Only when I know I'm going to have to take the stand... I HATE that, I've had to do it 3 times and spoke in small claims twice on behalf of my work...

Not at all. I totally dig it.
We all play by a system and a country of laws. The justice system, with all of its flaws and quirks, is really ingenious. It is the main thing that keeps us from having a broken down society like many of the 'developing' countries across the globe have. We'd be lost without the basis for it all, the Constitution.
Most of us only have interaction with the 'courts of law' when we are guilty of a traffic violation or get called for jury duty.

I have been witness to quite a bit of court of law stuff (close family members in touble) and what is most distrubing about all of it is that in the end it's just a big boys club, if you can afford a lawyer you get different results and there is so little that goes on there that is actually based in truth that it's scary. Scary enough for me to not every want to be involved in a court of law...

No, I don't shudder, it's just another docket call as far as I'm concerned. What comes to mind is that I gotta remember to take my gym clothes so I can hit the nearby fitness center after the hearing.
