no one seems to be even concerned with what that little bugger asked? did you think it was a legitimate question?

I think the issue is that no matter what the question is he has the right to ask.
I hate what the world is turning into.

Personally, no, I don't. But that is not the issue. What the neocons who have suddenly "discovered" free speech are trying to obscure are two facts:

1) Kerry specificallly said to leave the student alone and he would answer the question. Kerry's request was ignored.
2) The student was not tasered on the podium--that happened after the student had been taken some distance from the podium and became violent--at which point he was tasered. But thathad nothing to do with what he said or didn't say on the podium.

His questions were overshadowed by the overzealous actions of the police. From what I could hear, he was getting at some conspiracy theory that Kerry actually gave up on the 2004 election because of some skull and crossbones allegiance or something. I am not sure, do you know what the question was?

No, since Kerry told the police to let the kid ask the question. This is a simple case of the police being to over anxious.

I don't care what he asked, or even if he was looking for trouble.
I have a boy in College and I understand that kids say and do stupid things. They don't deserve to be tassered for it. This kid was not a threat to anyone.
This country has been following the philosophy that the good have to pay for the bad for so long now, that our kids can't be kids without getting into trouble. And at the same time they allow our kids to be exposed to more and more enticements to get into trouble. The insanity has to stop.

i don't think he should have been taken away. kerry wanted to answer his question but the police had other things in mind. if that student voted for kerry then he has every right to ask him wht he didn't fight the vote counts

The neoCOMs have gotten way out of hand. They don't even know how to respect one of their own. The kid was a moron and probably needed to be beech-slapped since his parents didn't teach him how to be respectful.

I don't like Kerry or his politics but I believe in being respectful in a public forum. Now people are always badmouthing neocons but it seems like it's the neoCOMs who show no respect or tolerance towards others.

It's really kind of funny that a crazed liberal neoCOM gets tasered at a crazed liberal's neoCOM event.

It wasn't a question, it was a rant. Two minutes worth. But what got him taken away was his refusal to obey lawful orders by law enforcement personnel and refusing to leave the premises when asked.

He was unruly and disruptive. People have been asking similar questions for years. Mr. Kerry did not answer and should not answer questions about a secret society. That is what makes it secret.

I am a conservative and dislike Mr. Kerry, his politics, and his behavior. But he does have his rights.
