Are you asking if it is possible to be a good student and happy at the same time? The answer is yes; in fact, certainly most people are happier if they are doing well at whatever they are doing at any time. Also, if you are sad or depressed, your schoolwork will often suffer because it is difficult to remain focused. I do think that very often the most intelligent people are prone to depression. Maybe they have a better understanding of their own problems, and thus tend to take them more harshly. But certainly, over the years, many of my best students have also been very popular, and apparently very happy, people.

The great Indian poet and dramatist Kalidas during his student days never believed in being a bookworm but had liverly conversations with his fellow students. One of his colleague took the studies very seriously and would shut himself up with his books always. In the tests Kalidas came out with flying colours whereass his colleague is not known to history.

Everybody did sparing nothing for their childre, sick patients or even the calves.Everybody except an old woman. Lo and behold the image which had remained above water despite all the milk brought by the subjecs got drowned as soon as the half a bowl was empties.

The moral of both these tales is that being a good persons is a prerequisite to become a good student and a good devotee also.

first u must set ur goal. what do u want to achieve. what percentage u want. what u want to do in future. if u wanna be a hobo dont study at all. if u wanna do mba or something u have to put the habbit of studying since now. of course whenever u study u must also relax. go out with ur friends and talk to them but study when necessary. dont take studies lightly because these form ur career and career is the most important thing man without that ull be a complete loser. it is not possible to achieve two things at once. study well through out, learn it not by heart buy by mind . understand stuff and when u think u have learned what u have to go out with friends. do this everyday and u can balance

I agree. bodily we tick each and all the "mammal" boxes. the only ingredient that separate us is our intelligence. Does this mean we at the instant are not animals?
