You might say that is not loving - but if there is a hell and I didn't tell you about it then that would not be loving - would it?

If you were loving, you would love me as I am, and not try to change me into something else. While you may feel that you are doing a service to non-Christians by trying to save their souls, the truth is that they do not perceive it that way. Whenever you suggest that your way is better than someone else's way, you are being critical and judgemental, even if your intentions are good.
Jesus said "Judge not..."

cpeezie - nice parable about Michigan being on fire. However, I don't believe that the good news that Jesus asked his followers to spread is the one that is being spread by Fundamentalist Christians. My interpretation is that he wanted us all to love one another and to know that God is there for us, even if we didn't follow all those strict Jewish traditions and laws. The spirit of the law is more important than the letter of the law.

Zotta1,

Jaysus, why didn’t somebody tell me before now?

Hell? You say? You mean the one biblical writers stole from Greek Literature or is there a special Christian Hell?

I surely wish somebody would have spoken up before now; it is a shock to find out that I am destined for something called Hell, especially when you consider all the research and science that went into the concept.

I can’t wait to hear them teeth gnashing and see that lake of liquid sulfur; I bet that baby is hot, what cha think? Of course, if you ever read the KJV you’d know that heaven is hotter than Hell so, I guess we don’t want to go there either, huh?

Boy! What bad news! You Xtians have any more of the…”good” news?

are you able to nevertheless finally end up In Hell? you may even yet it is not for people who love the Lord. we've 2 baptisms. One is water that's a demonstration to the Jews and the different is for Gentiles this is the baptism of the Spirit. we like God because of the fact He loves us. Hell is for devil and His angels and those that reject Christ. Why do unsaved human beings talk approximately Hell lots! Joh 3:17 For God sent no longer his Son into the international to sentence the international; yet that the international by way of him could be stored. John 3:18 He that believeth on him isn't condemned: yet he that believeth no longer is condemned already, because of the fact he hath no longer believed interior the call of the only begotten Son of God. Joh 3:19 And that's the condemnation, that easy is come into the international, and adult males enjoyed darkness rather than easy, because of the fact their deeds have been evil. Joh 3:20 for one and all which doeth evil hateth the sunshine, neither cometh to the sunshine, lest his deeds must be reproved. Joh 3:21 yet he that doeth fact cometh to the sunshine, that his deeds may be made take place, that they are wrought in God. Jesus paid for all sins of those that dislike him and for people who love him. if so, what could reason this? in case you somewhat have primary Jesus ... you are able to on no account be separated from the affection that's in Christ Jesus. you're able to be very depressing for doing issues which you already know you shouldn't do yet no longer something that's Jesus would be lost. it is not via works of righteousness that we are stored yet via His undeserved kindness. the very fact which you're worried potential which you belong to Jesus. little ones of God can get a spanking yet they nevertheless are the youngsters of God. You have been born into your father and mom kin and no mater what you nevertheless are their newborn. the same with God as quickly as you have been born of the spirit of God you belong to his kin. The unforgiveable sin is yet another tale. Maranatha

God is good. A simple test for truth is to ask if these are the words and deeds of a loving and forgiving father or those of a priest seeking power an control. As a father I can easily tell the two apart.

How can you tell people this, its like you are forcing them to eccept Jesus; now did Jesus anywhere say you have to follow him or did he invite them to do the right things.
Hell is a place that God has for some of the beings that he wants there...

I think you have a good motive for posting this "question," but it clearly shows you are narrow-minded. Other religious ideas are equally as valid as yours, and you should respect other views. Until you provide some objective evidence for your claims, I will continue to hold my disbelief and wonder why so many believe in these things.

By the way, disrespecting others' beliefs - although I don't think you are intentionally doing so - will only push people further away from Christianity. Whether that's your fault or just the dogma from the religion I'm not sure.

ugh...Hell and Heaven and Jesus and God and all those miracles are illogical. Does not it sound just like Greek Mythology, and yet millions of people are encompassed in and around religion? I think the bible and all that stuff should just belong in a children's book. Scientifically speaking, our energy and atoms will never leave the Earth. We will always exist here and reincarnation may be a possible outcome. Most likely we will stay in a state where we only dream for eternity.
God...I feel horrible when i say these things....

Zotta1, you must already be in hell for asking this question in the anthropology section...

Now take you're pathetic mumblings back to to religion, spirituality and myth, where they belong!

Do you realize that many people don't care, and think that you're an idiot? If there is a Hell, I'd rather go there than spend eternity with a God as petty, cruel, and narcissistic as yours. Now get out of the anthro page jackass.
