What is happening with the media just lately ?

LETS REMEMBER ALL THE EVENTS THAT LEAD TO MISSING MADELEINE WERE CAUSED BY / AND WERE THE DIRECT RESULT OF ?
The Mc Canns leaving three children alone in an appartment , whilst they Drank fine WINE and had a meal with friends .

This is the one fact that is KNOWN by all MEDIA / POLICE ? SOCIAL SERVICES .
The Mc Canns are so called proffesional People !!!
They did know better .
If this had happened to the BECKHAMS I could understand the MEDIA coverage .
If this had happened in this country SOCIAL SERVICES would have / and indeed should have REMOVED the remaining two children from the Mc Canns for thier own SAFETY !!
CHILDREN SHOULD NEVER BE LEFT ALONE LIKE THAT .

Again this proves one thing !!! HAVE MONEY

i agree with you so much, its disgusting that people make excuses for them leaving their children, no excuses needed it just shouldnt have been done, they should be prosecuted no matter what, they are disgusting people and social services should also look into the friends who were on holiday with them and left their children alone

Aye, well, pretty much everyone in the world apart from the saddos who continue to peddle their 'naughty McCanns' conspiracy theories on here does not give a toss anymore. It is ancient history and if that child is not dead I'll be utterly amazed. Yes she might still be alive, but the odds are far better for a well hidden corpse. I will also be utterly amazed if the parents were responsible in any way. Because this crime has been investigated by Portugese and British police and hey presto, aside from one book by a Portugese copper on the make, there's no evidence to charge the parents with anything except perhaps neglect. People, so called, parents in the UK commit daily abuse and neglect on their children and get away with it for months. Victoria Climbie, being one High Profile case I can (have to) remember.

In my HUMBLE opinion, what Kate & Gerry McCann did, was not abuse nor wilful neglect. It was naive & yes they made a terrible error of judgement and thought that Madeleine and the Twins would be safe. Portugal, after all, covers up its child abuse & other crime figures. Perhaps if the Portuguese were a bit more honest about those things & Tour Operators warned people of the dangers of Paedophiles in Portugal, Madeleine would never have been left alone. Praia da Luz is a tiny fishing village. You wouldn't imagine that ANY crime at all happens there, let alone this henious act.

You are over playing the "neglect" card now. Just because you know that they are NOT GUILTY of the crimes they are accused.

I think everyone agrees - the root cause as you put it was down to the child being left alone. However this thing 'because they have money' is getting out of hand. They are obviously from what you would calling working class backgrounds and through the same hard work as a lot of people have achieved really good salaries. However don't think they are really wealthy as such. Lots of Joe Public as you put it can earn the same by commission, deals on the side etc and do. You just have to look at expensive housing estates and not everyone there are doctors, lawyers etc. The main thing is you are boldly saying as they have money they get away with murder. They haven't got away with anything yet and if they are guilty I am sure it will be proven. If any on us could prove they murdered their daughter then they would be immediately charged. How about waiting and seeing what the next few days brings.? From the point of view of SOME on lower income they seem to be annoyed others earn a good salary'. From the point of view of SOME on high salaries they are annoyed they are contributing towards a lot of people not working when they could be and on benefits. This is not what I AM SAYING but a fact and I am not referring to all people reasonably wealthy or all poorer in our society but on each side of the fence that is what is said. I don't know if the Mcann's are innocent or guilty and at present the only way to look at it is a child is missing, the parents are using every one they can to assist them (Remember RB volunatarily donated he wasn't asked). Wouldn't it be the same if a child from Joe Public was missing? At the very least the media would be putting up rewards. Or when there is a child in urgent need of medical attention they cannot get in this country. How, many times does families approach the newspapers to appeal for donations? If the McCan's are guilty God Help them as he is
the only one who can but IF they are innocent in their shoes would we not all in our desperation approach everyone we possibly could?

we all know they left the children... nothing will ever change that.. this is a sad situation... it's time to move away from all of the..' they have a big house, and they have money' ... the important issue here... has to be,. that the search continues for 'madeleine', the innocent child in all of this, someone somewhere knows where she is, and they need to speak up now, and put an end to this misery.. and allow madeleine to be brought home safe to her family, where she belongs.

You are as wrong to pronounce judgement on them now as the usual suspects have been for the last 4+ months.

Anyway, why do people like you keep using the assertion that they left her alone as "evidence" that they killed her?

You can't have it both ways. If they killed her they did not leave her alone, did they? If they left her alone, it took SOMEONE ELSE acting with intentional criminality to make her disappear.

Unfortunately I disagree with many aspects of your opinion.

The main one being that the route cause to missing madeliene being parental neglect. WRONG.

The root cause is that someone had their eye on Madeleine and abducted here. The neglect was incidental and facilitated this abduction. But it definitely was not the route cause.

Far from it, although i abhore all of the rubbish i've read on here, such as the use of the word murder in the same sentence as the words get away with it.
Madeline is missing and i hope she will be found alive.
I am, however, suprised that a neglect investigation has not started, and i've been saying that for weeks.

Exactly, Madeleine is missing because she was left on her own and no other reason, plus the parents are going to get away with it all because as we know, money talks.

Yes, they left the children, Yes it was stupid, yes it was very wrong. However, if they are not guilty then they did not commit the crime, the person that took madeleine did. If she was abducted, and you are to say it was the parent's fault, then surely every child who has ever been abducted was the parent's fault - if they had been there at the time then it would never have happened.
Surely it is time to put this argument to bed, I think everyone agrees it was wrong of them to leave the children. they have been visited by social services, that will be recorded, but they aren't going to put two babies through the pain of being seperated from their parents (surely nbody here would really want that for the twins) unless they believe they are at risk. I'm sure the Mccanns regret their actions every day, and will never, never leave the twins alone again. It's a harsh way to learn how wrong your actions were.
