Please, nothing demonic. It's okay if it's not Christian, though.

These bands/singers are have a more solf/ light &bouncy sound to their music (I listen to them alot)

The Barenaked Ladies (not what you think)
Guster
Thin Buckle
Rhet Miller
Evans Blue
Augustana ('Boston' is a great song)
Steve Miller Band
Switchfoot
Hinder

The rest of the artists listed have the heavier and louder rock feel (the best of the rock world!)

The Rolling Stones
3 Days Grace
Coldplay
Buckcherry
Creed
Nickelback
Coldplay
Korn
Red Hot Chili Peppers

NOTE- Thoug I haven't found anything demonic or anti-Christian pertaining to these groups, it's a good idea to look up lyrics before you download/buy the cd (if you're easily offended by language). This rule mainly pertains to the 2nd group. I listen to all the groups I've listed, but just random songs. Just sayin' from experience that it's better to read it than hear it.

Linkin Park's older stuff (Hybrid Theory and Meteora) are both very good and clean. Three Days Grace, Kids in the Way, Flyleaf, Skillet, Family Force 5, Paramore, Gretchen, Evanescence, Disciple, Dead Poetic, Plain White T's, Superchic[k], Chevelle, POD, RED, Switchfoot, 12 Stones, Thousand Foot Krutch, Muse, Emery...the majority of those bands are Christian, but believe me, I know how you feel. These are tried and true. And haven't gotten Parental Advisory Warnings. Heh heh heh...

why not try some classic rock music, and work your way up from there ? try :

Led Zeppelin. whole lotta love & stairway to heaven are total classics.

Pink Floyd. amazing band. my personal favourites are Wish u were here and Comfortably Numb.

Rolling Stones. people sometimes forget how good this band were back in the 60s & 70s. try listening to some of their early stuff, like Paint It Black and Gimme Shelter.

it's interesting to listen to music from the early rock bands as a lot of the time u can see where modern rock groups have got their musical influences from... for instance, i like the band Placebo. if u listen to music from T-rex and David Bowie, u can tell that Placebo were influenced by that type of music.

happy listening. x

The most well known Christain rock bands I'd recommend are U2 and Coldplay. Neither band likes the label of Christian rock but I think they can be given it.
