Is WinMx still up and running? I used to use it frequently but havent used it in a long time. I tried to sign on the other day and it would not connect. Any ideas or suggestions? What other file-sharing programs can you recommend?

WinMX went down around September 21, 2005!

There will always be alternatives. Always set "Sharing" to OFF when you are on your own private connection.

So you know, WinMX did NOT do down in 2005! I'm trying to get back to it after a prolonged absence, and people giving out incorrect information (Mullah Mike) are not helping
